Last updated August 8, 2025

1. Purpose

This Beta Test Policy (“Policy”) describes the terms under which Paql makes available pre-release (“beta”) versions of the Paql mobile app and/or website (collectively, the “Beta Software”). Participation in the beta program (“Beta Testing”) is voluntary and intended to help Paql identify and fix potential issues before a general release.

2. Eligibility and Participation

Enrollment

To join Beta Testing, you must opt in via a designated registration link.

Location & Access

Beta Software may be limited to select geographic regions or devices. Paql reserves the right to revoke access at any time.

Age Requirement

You must meet the same minimum age requirements as set forth in the Paql User Agreement.

3. Beta Software Disclaimer

The Beta Software is under active development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or intermittent service disruptions.

You agree not to rely on the Beta Software for critical or high-risk activities. All data entered may be lost, corrupted, or reset at Paql’s discretion.

The Beta Software is provided “AS IS,” without any warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

4. Reporting Issues and Feedback

You agree to promptly report any bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior via the app provided feedback tool or to support@paql.io.

Each report should include:

By providing feedback, you grant Paql a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and commercialize your feedback without obligation.

5. Transaction Errors and Refunds

In the event of errors affecting payments, listings, shipping labels, or other transactional processes within the Beta Software, Paql will investigate and assist in resolving the issue.

Resolution Process:

  1. Report: You must notify Paql support at support@paql.io within three (3) days of discovering a transaction error.
  2. Investigation: Paql will review logs, transaction records, and any supporting materials you provide.
  3. Remediation: If Paql determines the error was caused by the Beta Software, Paql will, at its option, correct the transaction or issue a refund or credit to your original payment method.

Paql’s obligation to remediate or refund is limited to errors directly caused by the Beta Software. Paql is not responsible for losses arising from third-party platforms, seller misconduct, or user input errors.

6. Confidentiality

All information and materials related to the Beta Software—including features, functionality, and performance—are confidential. You agree not to disclose, publish, or disseminate any aspect of the Beta Software without Paql’s prior written consent.

7. Termination of Beta Participation

Paql may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to the Beta Software at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Beta Software and uninstall any components as directed.

8. Relationship to Other Policies

This Policy supplements and modifies the Paql User Agreement and Purchase Protection Policy solely for Beta Testing purposes. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and other Paql policies, this Policy controls with respect to Beta Software. All other terms in the Paql User Agreement remain in full force and effect.

9. Modifications

Paql reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time by posting an updated version in the app or on our website. Your continued participation in Beta Testing after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
