Paql Seller Policy
Last updated August 8, 2025
1. Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 18 years old (or have a guardian’s consent) to sell on Paql.
Account Registration
- You must create and maintain your own Paql account.
- Keep your credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
2. Listing Requirements & Conduct
Accurate Listings
- Describe every item truthfully, including condition, defects, and all sale terms.
- Provide clear, honest photos and a precise description of each paddle or racket.
Prohibited Listings
- No counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulent goods.
- No deceptive pricing or manipulative practices.
Platform Usage
- All communications and transactions must occur within Paql’s app.
- Automated scraping of data is forbidden.
3. Transactions & Shipping
Right to Sell
You warrant you have the legal right to sell each item you list.
Sale Binding
Once you accept a buyer’s offer, the contract is binding—no unilateral cancellations except as below.
Shipping Labels
- Paql provides a prepaid label after the buyer pays.
- You have 7 days from purchase to print the label, and 5 days from printing to ship the item.
- Failure to ship within 5 days will have the order automatically canceled and you forfeit the transaction fee.
- Labels are single-use, non-transferable; you’re fully responsible for proper packaging and carrier compliance.
Automatic Cancellation & Penalties
If you don’t generate a label within 7 days, the item will automatically cancel.
4. Payments, Fees & Payouts
Transaction Fee
- 10% of the final sale price (subject to change with notice).
- Non-refundable if a sale is reversed or you fail to ship after label issuance.
- To claim this fee in the event of a sale reversal, Paql will debit the bank account provided by the seller for payouts.
Payout Timing
- Funds (sale price minus fees and any taxes withheld) are credited once the shipping label is generated.
- You can cash out earnings after the order completes.
- If a buyer dispute remains open, you cannot cash out those funds until resolution.
Stripe Payouts
Payment processing services for sellers on Paql are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to this agreement or continuing to operate as a seller on Paql, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Paql enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Paql accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Paql to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
To receive payouts, you must provide accurate and complete business information and authorize Paql to share it and transaction details with Stripe.
Taxes
- Paql collects and remits sales tax on your behalf where required by law.
- In other jurisdictions, you are responsible for collecting/remitting any applicable taxes on your own net income or sales.
Account Statements
You will receive periodic statements detailing your sales, fees, deductions, and net payouts.
5. Disputes, Returns & Cancellations
Dispute Facilitation
- Encourage direct communication first.
- If unresolved, Paql will review evidence but final refunds come from you or per the Purchase Protection Policy.
Returns & Refunds
Buyers have up to 3 days after delivery to file for return if the item is “not as described” or damaged.
- If you approve a return:
- You pay for the return label (debited from your bank account).
- You must process the refund within 5–7 business days.
- Paql’s original transaction fee is retained by the platform.
- Partial refunds can be offered in lieu of a full return; buyer must accept.
Seller-Initiated Cancellations
Only allowed before label generation. After label is generated, you may not cancel.
6. Non-Delivery & Fraud Protection
Non-Delivery Reports
- If a buyer claims non-delivery after the carrier marks an item delivered, you may be asked to provide proof of shipment and delivery.
- Paql considers tracking-confirmed deliveries as final unless clear fraud or error is shown.
Risk Assumption
You bear all risk for your listings: Paql does not guarantee buyer payment, item condition, or transaction completion.
7. Compliance & Termination
Lawful Compliance
You agree to follow all applicable laws (e.g., consumer protection, export controls).
Policy Violations
Breach of these terms may lead to warnings, suspension, or account termination. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.
8. Updates & Contact
Policy Changes
Paql may amend this Seller Policy at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
